Michael Webb of Cimarron 615 (clients): Last year we had a lot of touring lined up. Then Rick (Lonow) had sudden health issues. As he recovered, we realized we had written a lot of songs during the down time, ones that fit our situation. We had gelled as a band, not just playing live, but rallying around Rick. We had a whole new reason to exist. Not to get too lofty about it, but we truly became a band of brothers working through Rick's illness last summer. We hit the studio with a new round of energy, a new lease on life. We had a mission.
