While I will continue to post the videos of my interviews on my YouTube channel and my Substack, I love creating text versions of my interviews. And to be honest, I find that people are much more likely to read the bulk (or all) of a text interview than they are to watch even a small portion of a video interview.

However, even though the transcription process is somewhat automated, it takes a lot of time to correct what the automation gets wrong, cut away the verbal stumbles and incomplete sentences, etc. Just that light bit of editing can make it a much more enjoyable experience for the reader.

So I thought I would put the transcriptions behind a pay wall to help cover the costs of all that time, occasional travel, and tools of the trade (both digital and tangible).

There are two posts up right now. The first is a sampler, excerpts from interviews I will be posting moving forward. That is free to view. The second is the text of my interview with Tom Johnson and Pat Simmons of The Doobie Brothers. That can only be viewed by paid members.
