Homework this weekend... delving into this deluxe vinyl edition of the album “Suffocate City” in preparation for my in-person interview with The Funeral Portrait in a couple weeks. In addition to the title track, I love the songs “Stay Weird” and “You’re So Ugly When You Cry.” Lee Jennings’s vocals regularly morph from rock to theatrical to a great blend of the two.
