Ed Roland of Collective Soul: I think that goes back to the song. To me, a song can be played on a piano, and it can be (played with) stacks of Marshals. It's all about the song. It starts usually with one cat playing the piano, one cat playing acoustic, just writing the song. You can visualize it being harder, or more electrified, but it starts with the song.
