Clients Cimarron 615 just released their new, self-titled album. They are celebrating tonight with a show at the legendary Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tennessee. Here is band member Michael Webb talking about one reason that club has a special place in his heart.
Michael: The Bluebird Café in Nashville has always been a place to see great players. Years ago, Reese Wynans, the keyboard player from Stevie Ray Vaughan's Double Trouble, played at The Bluebird with Mike Henderson & The Bluebloods every Monday night. Those memories of watching Reese Wynans play mean as much to me as anything. Going to a show at The Bluebird is like attending a master class. It's an intimate venue with excellent sound where you get to watch some of the best musicians in the world. Especially with the singer-songwriter nights. You get to be up close with people like Vince Gill, Tony Arata (who wrote “The Dance” for Garth Brooks), Don Schlitz (who wrote “The Gambler” for Kenny Rogers), and so many others.
