Tim Easton: I didn't really start writing -- waking up and giving it a go every day -- until the pandemic. I was like, "Okay, this is my job. I'm going to get up and act like it more."
(I'm) a bit of a slow learner. It was long after I was given a shot with big record companies and publishing companies. That's when I should have been working really hard on my songwriting. (Back then) I turned in 10 songs a year. And now it's more like 20.
That doesn't sound like much. In this town that I live in (Nashville), my mailman probably wrote 20 songs last month. I'm serious.
