What musicians need is reliable and kind of boring. And yes, I am describing myself.
The music industry (and others) is filled with creative people. It is filled with people who have big ideas.
It is also filled with apps and software that are supposed to automate everything.
But the creative, big-idea people tend not to be great at handling the time-consuming, tedious minutia.
And the apps and software that are supposed to handle that always have glitches, always require workarounds.
What is the real value I bring? Why have some clients been with me for over a decade?
I am a reliable, low-key human with a talent for handling the tedious minutia. I can communicate with people and deal with the glitchy apps.
Are you a gifted musician? Nice to meet you. I am the consistent, kind-of-boring guy you need on your team.

Yes; the creative person would have an idea for a project in their head. But not care what tools are needed and not know how to use the tools.
They just want the job or project done (professionally and affordably).
They can say, “Let’s do this!” and you can come along side with tools and equipment and encouragement which are appreciated.
