On this day in 1986 clients Huey Lewis & The News started a three week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with “Stuck With You” from their album Fore.
Huey: I remember how fast we had to finish the "Fore" album. Coming off of "Sports," the record company wanted us to come back with a record right away.
We gave them "Stuck With You.” They loved it.
They released it and the thing went right to number one. And we hadn't turned in the album yet.
They were flipping out. "You have got to give us the album!"
