One reward for the work I do: The experiences. The wonderful, surreal experiences. I am honored to be working on Sister Hazel’s 30th anniversary. As part of that project, yesterday I left the house for what I thought was going to be a short conversation. Instead, I returned home 12 hours later, having spent the day interviewing members of Hootie & The Blowfish and Collective Soul.
It is great to see how much these bands care about each other and the tight bonds they still have decades down the road.
Another surreal moment occurred during the concert. Between the Collective Soul and Hootie sets, I texted with Ken of Sister Hazel… while Sister Hazel’s “All For You” was being played over the sound system.
I help professional musicians tell their stories.

Very cool stuff Cris. Never forget when they first came into the business. Unique, unique sound and style. Hotter than a house a'fire and they rode that big wave. - Jim
